The UK Bribery Act

The Bribery Act came into force in April 2011. It introduced new corporate offences of bribery if employees or agents pay or receive bribes anywhere in the world.

The only defence a company will have against corrupt activities carried out by its staff will be to have had adequate anti-corruption procedures in place.

Protecting clients

Cresco provide a complete package solution to protect their clients from falling foul of the new Act. These range from board level policy statements to staff procedures and manuals.

Part of this overall package includes using TEAM iQ to provide e-Learning for staff, without which businesses cannot comply with the Act.

Learning content development services

Cresco Legal wrote the core material for the training, which was developed into e-Learning by TEAM iQ.
