You can insert interactive questions and answersAdd interactive Questions & AnswersYou can use simple ‘point & click’ routines to define interactive question and answer pages to assess a trainee’s understanding. into your training content using simple point & click routines.
You can use these to save time - with pre-qualifying Training Needs AssessmentGet staff back to work faster with Training Needs AssessmentYou can screen the need for individual employees to do particular training, having them automatically skip any content where they are able to demonstrate an understanding of the subject matter, and so get them back to productive work sooner.
You do this using pre-assessment questions to asses the level of understanding, and setting the system to automatically skip the related training where trainees demonstrate that they already have the necessary knowledge. before trainees spend time on the related training - or afterwards to assess the trainee’s knowledgeConfirm understanding with review questionsYou can test your trainee’s on the content they have just worked through by using a series of review questions to assess their understanding and knowledge of the subject matter.
If they get the questions wrong, showing that they have not understood or retained the required knowledge, then you can set the system up to automatically repeat the related content before returning to the question to reassess their knowledge. of any training they have just completed.
You don’t need to install any software to run TEAM iQ. You can create and run your e-Learning simply using your web browser – Microsoft Internet Explorer, Apple Safari, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
This means you can access your TEAM iQ account from any internet connected computer – at home, at work, in an airport lounge - anywhere. Just log in and you’re away.
You don’t need to use any new hardware to run TEAM iQ. All you need is your existing PC and an internet connection.
You can use a straight forward copy and paste function to upload all or part of any existing documents or slide presentations to TEAM iQ.
However, bear in mind that most slide presentations are prepared on the basis that they will be discussed and explained during a face to face presentation. With Online Training that discussion does not take place. The content of your Online Training must stand on its own, because you’re not going to be in the room with your trainees when they run the training.
There is no limit to the number of people that can create training in your TEAM iQ account.
As the System Manager you are in complete control over who has access to all aspects of your TEAM iQ system, including the right to create and manage your training content.
Your customers can access the training that you sell them in one of three ways as follows.
Long training courses, completed in a number of sittings over time
Your customer wants to put their staff through some Online Training that you are providing. The training is made up of 12 Modules, each of which will take about 45 minutes to complete. In all, the training will take each trainee just over 11 hours to complete – that’s far too much to expect them to complete it all at one sitting.
You will sell this customer individual log ins to your TEAM iQ account – a unique login for each of their staff that will do the training. When the staff member logs in, the Learning Management System (‘LMS’) in TEAM iQ will present them with the 12 training modules assigned to them. The TEAM iQ LMS will then automatically keep track of and report on what they have done and what they have yet to do.
Short training course, completed at one sitting
Consider an alternative scenario where your customer wants to pay to put their staff through an e-Learning course you provide that is 30 minutes in duration.
In this case you set up a Training Course for that customer using a unique Access Code. You define how many times that Access Code can be used, and you pass it on to your customer. They put a link on their website to the training, and give all their staff the Access Code they need to unlock the training.
Instant access training – with no further credentials needed
Your customer may want to allow their staff to access your training by simply clicking on a link, with no further logon or credentials required.
Just specify this with the ‘Freeview’ setting when you set a course up on TEAM iQ, and you will be able to give out a unique URL/web address for that course.
Promote your training to your customers by providing free-to-view samples of your training.
You can do this by publishing directly accessible samples, like this one here, or by publishing a sign-up form on your website in which visitors must identify themselves and request an Access Code in order to preview your training.
Hint: If you provide free sample training that is genuinely useful to your contacts, then you are going to attract more quality traffic to your website.
Via the Learning Management System
Where you want to assign training to individuals or groups of staff and report on who has done their training or has yet to do it, then you should use the Learning Management System (‘LMS’) that is an integral part of TEAM iQ. This allows you to create an individual Team Member account on the system for each of your Staff, against which you can plan, manage and report their individual training activity.
Once they are logged in to the LMS, you can provide access to your staff in a number of ways, depending on your need.
Assigned Training
Where you identify a training need, you can assign particular training to individuals or whole teams of staff to do.
Each member of staff will get an email notification
of their training requirement, which they can simply click on to open the training.
The Learning Management System in TEAM iQ automatically keeps track of who has done their training and who has not.
Online Training Library
You can publish an Online Training Library within your TEAM iQ system. Staff can browse the library for any training they want to run and simply choose go ahead and run it.
If you don’t want to use the Learning Management System (‘LMS’) in TEAM iQ to track and report training activity across your team, then you simply publish your training without it, in one of two way.
Certificated training
If you want to either restrict access to the training, or cause a personalised certificate to be produced at the end of the training, then you publish it using an Access Code that requires the learner to identify themselves and use the Access Code to unlock the training for them.
If you use this option, then successful completion of the training will automatically trigger the production of a personalised certificate.
‘Freeview’ access training
Freeview access allows you to publish your training as a web address or link from your Intranet, website or other documentation, from where a simple click will automatically fire up the training without the need for further credentials.
Use this, for example, from within your Quality Management System or IT system help files to publish easily accessible training that will improve compliance with your best working practices.
You can publish your training using your corporate colours

At the end of a piece of training you can insert interactive questions and answers into your training and optionally apply a setting that causes a replay of the related content if a trainee gets a question wrong. After the content is replayed the trainee is automatically returned to the question they got wrong for another try at it.
Once the trainee is finally finished, you know that they’ve worked their way through all the intended material and assimilated some understanding of it.
You can use a process of pre-training assessment questions to identify existing knowledge and automatically skip the related training, so saving your learner’s time, and getting them back to productive work sooner.
Trainees cannot just skip through content they do not want to do, but must work through it page by page in the manner intended.
If they have already completed that part of the training, and are reviewing it for a second or subsequent time, then TEAM iQ will spot this and allow them to use the Page or Section navigation menus to skip content and jump around to just those parts of the training that they want to re-run.
When you create your Training in TEAM iQ, you create it as a series of different Modules. You can then reuse these, mixing and matching to create different training coursesCombine different Modules to create different CoursesTraining content is arranged in a series of Modules. Choose from these to set up different Courses that re-use existing content (Modules).
If you are selling training to customers, then this allows you to include in their course only those Modules that they have paid for. Or, if you are creating courses for staff, then you need only include those Modules that are required for that particular group of staff. that contain only those Modules needed by the different groups in your trainee population.
